More waffle from Hairy Marney

In a statement earlier today Hairy Marney insists she can't understand why consultants won't sign up to the new contracts. Well, I have news for Madame HM - if I were a consultant, I wouldn't sign up to one of the new contracts either, for the simple reason that these new contracts would effectively prevent me the consultant from advocating in favour of my patients. This appears to be another thinly-disguised attempt to muzzle any possibility of dissent by a right-wing authoritarian regime completely out of touch with reality.
Furthermore the Minister for Trolleys, Torture and Chilblanes says she doesn't "think there would be any public support, particularly from patients and their families, for pausing the recruitment process". More here.
I for one don't believe anything that issues from the mouths of Tub of Lard Harney or any other PD/SS or eFFer. They are totally out of touch with what it is like to live as a citizen in dis here Banana Republic.
